It is a pleasure to interview my friend and colleague, Synnamon Brown; Artist, Teacher, Cosplayer, and Gamer. Synnamon is a New York native and has some of the best and most stylized art I have ever seen. Drawing inspirations from her personal history with the city, her admiration of the 90’s, the pop high contrast colors used in classic Marvel comics and the perspectives found in designs of the 80’s and beyond. Her one fatal flaw is her love for “Tekken”… in which she isn’t so skilled at. We are going to discuss all of the plus and negatives of conventions, the love-hate relationship of New York’s art scene, the power of friendship and “Sailor Moon”!

Painter and streamer from SWFL, she has a way around color and subject management. This weeks guest is Michele R. Leslie. After supporting the art/gaming community around her, she Michele is currently finding her voice in the field of the arts. Both bold and heartfelt, Michele follows a classic style of painting mixed in with digital media, and streaming the process through and through. It is easy to become entranced by her style and work flow.Focused on minuet details, Michele’s paintings engross the viewer into hypnotic fashion. Even to go as far as to encourage me into a series of landscapes, this is Micheles first time making prints for a series hosted at the giftshop (linked here).

We spoke on board games, content creators, writing a series of novels, the difficulties of producing/editing/marketing one’s own body of work, and some experiences that shaped her writing style (urban horror).

I had the pleasure of having LJ Ugarte of Firecreek Entertainment. While I was completing a portrait of him, we spoke about the importance of integrity, the need for community, and how bad behavior can ruin opportunities. Firecreek Entertainment is a multi-award winning production company based in South Florida; creating shorts, feature length movies, providing gaffers, cinematographers, production staff and everything in between. While running all of this, he remains humble yet worthy. Dropping a great deal of insight on how to maneuver through the channels and how to expand those networks, the do’s and don’t of being unionized…. and spreading positivity through a few good laughs. 

John D Contradiction

Ep 3: Who Is John D. Contradiction?


Our guest this week was John D. Contradiction producer, lyricist and content creator. During the interview, he dropped wonderful gems on breathing emotion into art and music and how to develop marketing strategies. While staying humble and helpful, yet being confident and taking hold of responsibilities, John knows to accept situations we cannot change. He told a few tear-jerking personal accounts and the origin stories of several groups like Not Ya Manz and Sticks and Stones Games. Carrying this generational curse of cynicism into a business model, he would turn it into a much more helpful and positive process.

Emuche works have been featured in gallery shows, conventions, editorial pieces, clothing, trinkets, magazines and comics, murals and advertisement. with a passion for up lifting the community around him, Emuche has built a long list of contact and befriended so many creatives. During our session we are going to rehash how Emuche has gotten to this point of his career and what direction is it moving towards.

Caleb has worked on the Wintergatan Marble Machine as a designer and consultant for its various parts. Caleb has a background teaching 3D printing and design, DIY tech, splicing and more! The LightSaber to the left, he made that… He would solder electronics together before he was old enough to drive.
